House With a Big Yard and a Four-Car Garage On a Relatively Small Lot
The Lakes Residence is designed by Architekton for a family of four. It is the 3,500 square feet home that occupied a relatively small lot of about 65′ x 125′. Inspire of that there is a quite big exterior yard with a pool and the adjacent lake near by. The house has two levels with a footprint of about 25′ x 55′. Its shape is quite simple but it features all necessary living areas and four-car garage. One part of the house is cpu clad while others are clad in various materials such as bamboo and translucent glass. There is also a wrapping envelope that emerges from the ground and ends as an indirect light fixture illuminating the great room and entry. This wrapper is opaque on the east and west and provides a deep roof overhang on the south. The form is three feet thick which allows for structure, storage and utilities. When weather inspires, the home’s main living space’s north and south large sliding glass walls open for true indoor/outdoor comfort and enjoyment of the inherent evaporative cooling from the lake and the pool.

Modern Interior Design of Small Apartment That Inspire
This modern and colorful apartment is designed by Carla Basich and has quite small size. It’s about 70 square meters but there is everything needed for contemporary lifestyle. Although it isn’t only practical and functional but also charming and sweet. It shows how even small rooms with low ceilings could be elegantly decorated.
In order to make the interior look modern a lot of glossy furniture were used. The black and white color theme could be seen almost in every room but it’s always dilute by other colors to make these rooms more warm and livable. Because the space is at a premium the furniture is very thoughtful. It provides enough storage and even could hide some appliances like the air conditioner at the living room and the microwave at the kitchen. Small and Elegant Powder Room Design
Stephanie Marsh Fillbrant of Marsh & Clark Design studio has designed this small and elegant powder room. In spite of the size it become an airy and artful space full of extraordinary craftsmanship. The classic composition of the room is anchored by an exquisite marble and limestone mosaic that unfurls up the subtly reflective, pale-blue Venetian plaster walls. This thoroughly modern take on an ancient art form is accented by a cantilevered vanity, which subtly suggests the trabeated forms of Ancient Greek post and lintel architecture. There is also an another local craftsman work in the room – a stunning portrait window. It marries classic stained-glass fabrication techniques with a modern design. Afternoon sunlight make this powder room unforgettable.
