Here’s a real estate sampler of houses for sale in the U.K. Click the links below each house to see the interior photos, and then let us know which one is your favorite!

House #1: This cottage in the Upper Towy Valley of Wales reminds me of the one from “The Holiday” (the exterior, anyway–see pics of its movie twin here.) House #2: This 4-bedroom house is in the large coastal town of Poole on the south coast of England, near “an excellent promenade and safe sandy bathing beaches.” It has been updated and “sympathetically modernised” by the current owners. House #5: Saddlewood Manor is a 6-bedroom house in Gloucestershire built of Cotswold stone. It dates from the late 17th Century and features stone mullion windows under a Cotswold stone tile roof. House #1: Recently featured in Country Living’s “Real Estate Sampler,” this 1913 home in Mound City, Illinois, has a neoclassical portico, a parlor with working gaslights, and a copper turret. Asking $289,000. More photos: Coldwell Banker.

House #2: This Classic Sag Harbor Beauty (New York) has been renovated with modern amenities but retains historical charm with pumpkin pine floors, crown molding, and four fireplaces. Asking $1.295 million. More photos: Corcoran.
